| This was the team that represented the Club in its inaugural season of
1946 and finished the season as runners up. An interesting point is that the official standing second from the left is Bill Woodfull who was the Australian cricket test captain during the notorious "Bodyline" series against England in 1932-33. In all, Bill Woodfull captained Australia in 25 test matches. Bill was headmaster at Upwey High School and was involved administratively with the Club. |
